HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE?
Our order times vary slightly based on what you order;
Custom Made Playing & Training Kit – Despatches in 4 Weeks
Custom Made Outerwear- Despatches in 4-6 Weeks
Custom Made Socks- Despatches in 4 Weeks
Stock items- Despatches in 2-3 Weeks
Despatch timelines start from the date we receive artwork approval, sizes and a 50% deposit of the invoice total.
We use despatch time frames as a way of giving you certainty as the entire despatch process is completely controlled by us. Depending on your location and the best available logistics partner we use for your location time taken from us to you may vary.

WHAT ARE YOUR MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITIES?
This depends on what you order the exact quantities can be seen below;
Custom Made Playing & Training Kit – 10 pieces of the same garment, same design
Custom Made Outerwear- 20 pieces of the same garment, same design
Custom Made Socks- 30 pairs per style
Custom Accessories- usually start at 50 pieces
Stock items- Despatches in 2-3 Weeks
WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR CUSTOM-MADE UNIFORMS?
Our process is designed with you in mind we pride ourselves on our quick and easy process to cut down on unnecessary wait times to get your kit to you as quickly as possible;
- Send us an enquiry about your specific needs
- We’ll send you a quote based on what you need
- Your vision will be brought to life with your custom artwork sent to you
- You’ll approve the artwork or ask for any changes you need for it to be perfect
- We manufacture and ship it straight to your door!
HOW DO I SELECT THE CORRECT SIZES FOR MY UNIFORMS?
Check out our sizing guide so that you can accurately get sizes and look the best on the field!
WHAT ARE MATAI’S PAYMENT TERMS?
Deposit- we require a 50% deposit to commence production on your order.
Final Payment- total payment for your order, minus your deposit, is required to be paid in full before we release your goods for shipping. Please be aware that production and shipping times can be affected by late payments – including deposits – especially during busy periods.
WHAT TYPE OF GARMENTS DO YOU SUPPLY?
We have 3 main garment types listed below:
Sublimation- Sublimation is where a design is printed onto special paper and is then transferred onto the garment through the use of pressure and heat. The process delivered a permanent and fade-resistant design and ensures that your fully customised garments are of exceptional quality, sharp in design and rich in colour.
Cut & Sew- Your custom “Cut & Sew” garment is created with the perfect blend of performance materials in your desired colour which is cut to your set design and sewn into the best-fitting custom sports apparel available. Embellishments can be added through embroidery, applique embroidery, screen printing and silicone printing.
Hybrid- Is made with both pieces of blank performance materials and pieces of performance materials that have been sublimated and printed to your design.
WHAT ARE MY DECORATION OPTIONS?
Sublimation- uses ink or dye to transfer your artwork permanently in your garments. It allows you to have full creative freedom when customising your apparel.
Embroidery- is the longest-lasting embellishment method and provides a quality finish to garments. Whilst providing a nice finish on the outer layers for chest-size logos, embroidery is not ideal for larger logos.
Heat Transfer- prints are pressed into garments via high temperature and heavy pressure. Creating sensational vibrant and detailed logos.

WHAT FABRIC DOES MATAI SPORTS USE?
Matai Sports have spent years working with our suppliers to find the best sportswear fabric for the specific garment. All our sublimated garments are made from Performance Polyester Fabrics. You can view a list of our common
WHAT RANGE OPTIONS DO YOU HAVE?
We have a range to cater for every club, school or organisation no matter their level. or budget!
PERFORMANCE RANGE– is our top range which is designed for performance and style to assist athletes in maximising their performance. This results in streamlined-looking garments. All garments come with flatlock seam construction for ultimate resistance!
ELITE RANGE– uses premium quality fabrics along with ergonomic seaming to enhance your range of movement. Modern fitting garments to enhance your performance.
PRO– is our tried and tested range of garments. The fit of these garments has been developed and wear-tested to be used in social sports right up to the elite level
CORE RANGE– is a range of products that are held in Stock by our supply network in set colours, styles, and sizes. Most garments are available in Men’s Women’s and Kids. Products are available for quick despatch and can be customised through embroidery or heat press prints with club, school, and sponsors logos along with individual names and numbers as required
CAN I ORDER AN EXTRA ITEM FROM A PREVIOUS ORDER?
Yes, you can! For exact repeat orders of previous orders, we will make up 1 or 2 uniforms at a sample price.
This assists us with offsetting the new order processing, set up and logistics for the order.
DO YOU PROVIDE A GUARANTEE ON CUSTOM-MADE UNIFORMS?
Yes, we do, if within 12 months of purchase your garments do not perform as could be reasonably expected under normal match, training, casual wear or laundering conditions, then we will replace or repair them at no cost to you.
CAN I DESIGN SOMETHING COMPLETELY UNIQUE?
Yes, we have a talented team of graphics artists that can bring any idea to life. Send us an enquiry here if you have an idea that doesn’t match the styles on our website and we will work to bring it to life!
